About This Performance

The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra will perform as part of the 2014-2015 season of the Carolina Performing Arts at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During these two special concerts, led by Music Director Manfred Honeck, the symphony performs its quintessential blend of timeless orchestral masterpieces and new American works, including the Pittsburgh Symphony-commissioned The Elements, inspired by Pittsburgh landscape and history.
